A HUGE ATTRACTION IN CANCUN
Except for the day I visited Chichen Itza (I literally felt that I was melting); the weather during my trip was very pleasant, just in the point to enjoy the beach without feeling uncomfortable because of the extreme heat. The following facts are generalities that I remember from a talk with a native, in a rainy day (the only one and obviously the most boring).

He told me that Cancun is a city of international tourism, which has a tropical
climate, is located on the northeast coast of Quintana Roo
in southern Mexico. Although weather in Cancun hardly varies across the year,
specialists used to divide it in two distinct seasons; wet and dry, which are moderated by onshore trade winds, with an annual
mean temperature of 27°C.
Unlike inland areas of the Yucatan Peninsula, sea breezes restrict high
temperatures from reaching 35 °C on most afternoons. Thanks to the Yucatan
stream continually bringing warm water from further south, the sea temperature
is always very warm, with lows of 26 °C in winter and highs of 29 °C
in summer. The rainy season runs from May through October,
while the dry season goes from November through April. May and June are
the most sweltering months, with high humidity, rainfall and temperatures,
while the winter months are generally pleasant.
