My name is Juliana Valencia. I’m seventeen years old and now I’m studying Economy and International Business at Icesi University. One of the reasons I decided to choose my career was the big opportunity that it offers to travel and to interact with different cultures. For me, traveling is the best way of learning all about the world’s performance, which is important for understanding how people are going to buy and the attitudes about the products. This determines the best strategy to adapt the goods according to the local demand. In economy is important to have a kind of sensitivity of the local necessities, because success only comes from the ability to adjust the business production according to the buyer’s expectative. BUUUUUUUUT this blog isn’t an economy class, so let me tell you more about me.
Now, I’m living in Cali, Colombia, which is also known as “La sucursal del cielo”, of course, because when you tread my city, the party and the essence of happiness, makes you feel like in heaven, and that’s why I enjoy dancing and listening to music, specially our native rhythm: SALSA.
However, since I’ve lived here all my life, sometimes I consider totally necessary to change my background and what a better way than traveling as much as it is possible. For instance, I’ve travelled inside Colombia and Latinoamerica too and my biggest dream is to go someday to Dubai. All about the Arabic culture really attracts my attention.
